PhilosophyPath is a small publication of essays on philosophy and AI. The site is read-only for visitors; there is no sign-in, no comments, and no quizzes on this domain. This page describes what data is collected, why, and how it is handled.

What we collect

  • Anonymous usage analytics. Page views, referrers, device type, and country via Vercel Analytics. No cookies, no cross-site tracking.
  • Performance metrics. Core Web Vitals via Vercel Speed Insights. Aggregated, not tied to identity.
  • Error reports. Client and server errors via Sentry. May include the request path and a sanitized stack trace.

What we do not collect

  • No accounts, sign-ins, or user identifiers on this site.
  • No advertising identifiers.
  • No social graph or contact list uploads.
  • No selling or sharing of personal data with advertisers.

Cookies

PhilosophyPath uses one first-party cookie for theme preference (light / dark). No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are set on this site.

Data retention

Usage analytics are retained for 12 months. Error reports are retained for 90 days. For broader requests covering logs, backups, or processor records, contact us via the contact page. Such requests will be completed within 30 days.

Processors we use

  • Vercel (hosting and analytics)
  • Cloudflare (DNS, edge)
  • Sentry (error reporting)

PhilosophyPath shares hosting infrastructure with the parent site, TheoremPath. Visitors to PhilosophyPath are not transferred to TheoremPath and do not interact with the TheoremPath sign-in or account systems unless they explicitly navigate to that domain.

Your rights

Where applicable, visitors may have rights to access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data. PhilosophyPath will make a good-faith effort to honor such requests regardless of jurisdiction. Contact us via the contact page.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced on the home page and dated above. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
