Non-affiliated

PhilosophyPath is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any academic institution, publisher, research lab, or third party. Nothing on this site is produced in the course of employment or on behalf of any organization.

Views and opinions expressed on PhilosophyPath are solely those of the author in a personal capacity. They do not represent the views of any employer or institution with which the author is or has been associated.

Editorial scope, not professional advice

PhilosophyPath publishes editorial essays on philosophy and AI. The essays are intellectual exercises. They are not legal advice, medical advice, financial advice, employment advice, or formal academic instruction. Citations to philosophical texts and current research are educational, not endorsements.

Not peer-reviewed

Essays are written from primary philosophical sources and from public AI research. They are not peer-reviewed. They may contain errors of summary, attribution, interpretation, translation, or citation. Verify philosophical claims against the cited primary sources, and verify technical claims about AI research against the cited papers, before relying on them for original work.

Source policy

PhilosophyPath cites primary philosophical works (Plato, Hume, Kant, Rawls, Foucault, Marx, Beauvoir, and others) and contemporary AI research (arXiv preprints, journal articles, NBER and IMF working papers, ILO reports, government policy documents). The site does not use proprietary employer documents, unpublished internal datasets, or non-public institutional material.

Figures and visual material

Figures on PhilosophyPath are illustrative companions to the authored body text. They are produced as visual restatements of claims that appear in the prose or in the cited primary sources. Layout decisions, color palette, and editorial framing are chosen by the author. Visual artifacts can still introduce small errors. The body text is the source of truth for any claim on this site; if a figure and the prose disagree, the prose is correct.

The author is not a graphic artist, and the figures are intended as instructional aids rather than as stand-alone art. Report figure errors via the contact page.

Reporting errors

Corrections are welcome. If you find a factual error, a mis-cited paper, a mis-attributed quotation, or a broken link, please use the contact page. Editorial disagreements are welcome too, but they are distinct from errors of fact.

Liability

PhilosophyPath is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author disclaims all liability for any damages arising from use of, or reliance on, the content of this site.
